Albert Hofmann

A visually stunning photo book on the life and work of Dr. Albert Hofmann, the discoverer of LSD. Photographer Hansjörg Sahli accompanied the psychedelic pioneer through numerous milestones in his eventful 102-year life. It includes photo series from the 60th anniversary of the discovery of the psychoactive effects of LSD, book launches, Albert Hofmann's 100th birthday, and much more. To mark the 80th anniversary of Dr. Albert Hofmann's discovery of the psychoactive effects of LSD (Bicycle Day), exhibitions of Hansjörg Sahli's photographs will be held in Basel. With contributions by Claudia Müller-Ebeling, Peter Gasser, Roger Liggenstorfer, and Markus Berger.
