What is 1cp-LSD?
1cP-LSD, also known as 1-cyclopropionyl-D-lysergic acid diethylamide, is a psychedelic substance from the lysergamide class that is structurally similar to LSD. 1cP-LSD is a derivative of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), meaning it has a similar chemical structure but with some modifications.
Specifically, 1cP-LSD has an additional cyclopropionyl group attached to the nitrogen atom of the indole ring of the LSD molecule. This modification makes it structurally distinct from LSD, but many of the pharmacological and subjective effects remain similar.
The change in the chemical structure is relatively minor. 1cP-LSD likely acts primarily on serotonin 5-HT2A receptors in the brain, similar to LSD. However, the cyclopropionyl group may slightly alter the potency, duration, and receptor binding profile compared to LSD.
