A direct, ash-forward Amazonian rapé blended with the ash of the Paricá tree and Mapacho tobacco. Used by practitioners across Acre and the wider Western Amazon for grounding and centring — a clean, clearing snuff with a distinct dryness.
Character & feel
Parica is more forceful than the warmer, aromatic Imdurana but typically less ash-heavy than Caneleiro. Drier and more "ash-forward," with a sharper nasal hit. Users commonly describe a clearer, more cleansing quality — favoured for focus and intentional reset.

Application & dosage
Begin with a small portion — about the size of a grain of rice — applied to one nostril at a time. Sit upright, breathe slowly. Effects build within seconds; the acute phase lasts 5–20 minutes, with a 30–60 minute settling phase. Apply via tepi (partner-administered) or kuripe (self) — see our Tepi & Kuripe guide.
