A fine, ash-heavy Brazilian rapé made with the ash of the Caneleiro tree (Cenostigma macrophyllum) and Mapacho tobacco. Often associated with the Shanenawa, Kuntanawa and Huni Kuin traditions of Acre — a strong, focused, traditionally prepared blend.
Character & feel
Caneleiro is one of the more forceful rapés in our range. The fine grind and high-ash content produce a sharp, clearing nasal sensation and a grounded, focused after-feel. Most users describe it as direct and physically strong — typically chosen for serious practice rather than introductory use.

Application & dosage
Begin with a small portion — about the size of a grain of rice — applied to one nostril at a time. Sit upright, breathe slowly. Effects build within seconds; the acute phase lasts 5–20 minutes, with a 30–60 minute settling phase. Apply via tepi (partner-administered) or kuripe (self) — see our Tepi & Kuripe guide.
